IX Festival della Valle d Itria, Martina Franca, Saturday 30 July 1983. Giorgio Gualerzi reviewed it in Stampa Sera of Monday 1 August 1983 p.7 (Che romantica Straniera): the Straniera was conducted sabato sera -- i.e. 30 July -- by the young Tiziano Severini, staged by Lamberto Puggelli with designs by Paolo Bregni, with the Japanese soprano Wakoh Shimada (Alaide), the baritone De Corato (Valdeburgo, the Tamburini part), the tenor Piero Visconti (Arturo), the other tenor Giuseppe Fallisi (Osburgo) and the basses Eftimios Micalopoulos and Ambrogio Riva. La Stampa of 14 July 1983 p.9 lists La straniera in the 1983 Valle d Itria programme, and Stampa Sera of 10 November 1983 p.21 shows RAI Radiotre broadcasting it at 21.10 (IX Festival della Valle d Itria di Martina Franca - La straniera), which is the likely origin of this rip. operadis lists ten Straniera recordings and not this one. Review: http://www.archiviolastampa.it/component/option,com_lastampa/task,search/action,viewer/Itemid,3/page,7/articleid,1397_02_1983_0206_0007_19118161/ . Isoletta is not recorded here: the arrival path credits Malakova but no source outside the folder name confirms it, and the review does not name her; the two basses are likewise omitted because no source says which of them sang the Priore and which Montolino.
