1997
A private (amateur, single fixed camera from the balcony) video of a staged performance, arriving as "/raid/dan2/Stravinsky, Igor (1882-1971)/Le Rossignol - 1997.02.07 (Dessay c Boulez, Paris) private video/VIDEO_TS". The run is corroborated independently of that folder name by fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natalie_Dessay -- "En 1997, Natalie Dessay chante au theatre du Chatelet Le Rossignol d Igor Stravinsky sous la direction de Pierre Boulez dans une production du jeune metteur en scene Stanislas Nordey" -- and by fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanislas_Nordey, which lists Le Rossignol (Stravinsky, 1997), Theatre du Chatelet, conductor Pierre Boulez, among his stagings. The disc is 50m09s of PAL video ending in curtain calls, and a frame from the third act shows the Emperor on his bier with Death beside him and the Nightingale singing from a raised platform. It is NOT the 1999 Conlon studio recording (findopera 7578): its LPCM audio was correlated against both existing rips of that recording (rip-2101 mp3, rip-4672 DVD LPCM) and locked against neither -- median |r| 0.09 with lags wandering over 78-98 s -- while the cross-format control between those two rips of the one Conlon source held its lag flat in plateaus at median |r| 0.74, and the self-test returned r 1.000 at lag 0. Neither the disc nor anything in the folder gives a date, so the uploader s "1997.02.07" is left out and only the year recorded. Cast beyond Dessay is unknown; the orchestra is not recorded because nothing establishes which one played.
