Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden
Sächsischer Staatsopernchor Dresden
Unsetting day for consistency with how this run is actually evidenced. The Semperoper Spielplan shows three concert performances (13, 17, 22 March 2005) and the only cast document is a Saechsische Zeitung review of the 13th, so the cast cannot distinguish which night this tape is. The day rested solely on the uploader, and a folder from the same uploader in the same batch (a Vienna Sonnambula dated 26 Sept 2003) proved to be wrong - that night was Jenufa. Year and month are solid; the folder claim of 22 March is preserved in the rip NOTE.md. This matches the treatment given the Vienna Sonnambula on identical reasoning.

Saechsische Staatskapelle Dresden
Saechsischer Staatsopernchor Dresden
Concert performance of I Puritani at the Semperoper Dresden, one of three the house gave in March 2005. Semperoper Spielplan for March 2005 (Wayback: http://web.archive.org/web/20040601000455/http://www.semperoper.de/l_4/spielplan/semperoper/mar05.htm) lists "I Puritani (concert version)" on Sun 13.03. 19:30, Thu 17.03. 20:00 and Tue 22.03. 20:00 -- the folder claims the 22nd, and that is a real performance night of this run. Cast is from the review by Peter Zacher, Saechsische Zeitung of Tuesday 15 March 2005, "Gruberova-Gipfelhoehe", saved as an .mht beside the files: Gruberova (Elvira), Mario Zeffiri (Arturo), Paolo Gavanelli (Riccardo), Christa Mayer (Enrichetta), Jacques-Greg Belobo (Giorgio), Rainer Buesching (Valton), Woo-Kyung Kim (Roberton), Friedrich Haider conducting the Staatskapelle and the Staatsopernchor. That review beats the house s own production page (http://web.archive.org/web/20040601000152/http://www.semperoper.de/l_4/repertoire/oper/puritani05.htm), which is an advance announcement from mid-2004 and bills Gregory Kunde as Arturo -- he did not sing. CAVEATS, both recorded in NOTE.md beside the files: (1) the review is of the 13 March performance, so it fixes the run s cast but not which of the three nights this tape is; the day comes from the uploader s folder and cast sheet. (2) the cast sheet in the folder lists Markus Marquardt as Lord Gualtiero Valton in libretto order and then appends Rainer Buesching in the same role at the end; only Buesching is documented by the review, so he is the one entered here.
